Plumbelly Studio designed the new visual identity for John Marsden’s second school in the Macedon Ranges: Alice Miller in Macedon. The old logo was a monogram AM for Alice Miller. Taking the original design and giving it extra depth, Plumbelly Studio came up with yet another monogram which extended and doubled up as a mountain range, reflection the school’s location of the Macedon Ranges. The new logo is flexible: it works with patterns and textures, taking the school’s creative background into account. Yet is also works in its classic formats of mono, single and multi coloured, as well as reversed.
To help staff use the logo correctly, a mini brand guideline was developed, clearly stating how to use the logo.
Furthermore, the school needed graduate certificates for their first Alice Miller graduates at the end of 2017, as well as invites to the special event. Once again the school’s creative concept and background was used as inspiration for the designs. Keeping the certificate and invite playful yet academic.
