One of Australia’s biggest bedding brands Tontine appointed The Hive Design to come up with the subbrand Cloud9. Part of the project was to develop a logo, packaging, illustration and a system for easy identifying of the different pillows within the range. For and together with The Hive Design, colour pallets were developed, illustrations pre-drawn and commissioned, and then applied to the required packaging – this ranged from doona covers to pillow cases and protectors. Once again the use of icons and clear typography was a key part of the design, so that the customer can quickly differentiate between the various options within when they are shopping for their required product.
